Mazda App
This APP just covers basics about the Miata and doesnt go into great detail about any one subject. The App is intended more for European owners than US owners, there is little or nothing here that you cant determine on your own and obviously the developers did not elaborate on those little bits of information because they want your money. In a word, save your money. Its definitely not worth $4.00.
Good, but could be better for the price
Lots of potential here - some if it is quite useful. If it were free or 99cents, it would get more stars. But at $4, it needs some extras. The videos were very good and the simple tip on identifying the engine size was helpful. Half of it is general "how to buy a used car" and what hidden warnings to look for -- helpful, but you may already know it. If you dont have experience buying older used cars or you know nothing about a Miata, then its probably worth the price of admission. The information does seem trustworthy and accurate. The vocabulary is obviously UK-specific and the maintenance cost estimates are based solely on the UK/European market. Suggestions: Add more information useful for owners after they buy a Miata - an engine diagram, maintenance scheduler with reminders, recommendations for type of oil, etc Option for maintenance costs to be based on US cost (not just exchange rate, but actual US domestic markets) Careful with the UK vocabulary -- apparently the cars soft top is referred to as a "hood" -- that confused the mess out of me! In the US the hood covers the engine. Thanks for making the app!
